Introduction to Starters

Thematic is full of suits you collect. A starter is the one you build.

You pick one of four when you begin, and it stays yours: the same suit, upgraded ten times, changing shape as it goes. It never gets replaced.

That opens its upgrade screen. There is no bench to build and no key to learn.

It is laid out like the Suit Bench on purpose. Once you can use this, you can use that.

Most rungs offer a choice of what to learn, and you only get one of them.

Two players can take the same starter all the way up and end with genuinely different suits. There is no wrong pick, and nothing is hidden from you - the screen shows the whole ladder from the start, so you can plan what to gather.

The first upgrade needs wood and wool, and nothing else. Turn the wool into Fabric and you are done.

The early half of the ladder stays in that spirit - things the overworld hands you. Only the last few rungs ask for Diamond Cubes and Netherite.
